Hello all, today im sharing my [Mag] build for all game content. Be it solo or squads, this build can and will take you to levelcap 9999 in any mission type. I've ran [Mag] in solo Apollo to 9999 without problems except the occasional acolyte that shuts you off. You can [Negate] that by using Silence as the helminth ability however there's a lot of ways to deal with them, mainly abusing rolling guard and oneshotting them as soon as they spawn.
19/04/2024 UPDATE: Using [Archon Stretch] with Electro [Diriga] so it can feed energy to warframe and slotted in Shield Deflection for better shieldgate and [Regen] that was needed for Levelcap Cascade.
With some Molt stacks u get the full armor strip, although since i run Madurai Sling and Grimoire with Vome Invocation you can have it from the get-go.
Archon Shards: 2x Tau Red Ability Duration, 2x Cast Speed, 1x Shield Capacity.
**Mag's Abilities
Passive: Pulls in nearby loot.
1.) Pull: Quick one-handed crowd control ability.
Pulls all enemies from the target direction towards Mag and groups them in a small vortex infront of her. Can be used when in a pinch to quickly ragdoll all susceptible enemies, allowing you a bit of breathing room.
2.) Magnetize: Crowd control / enemy denial and area damage.
Use to create a magnetic bubble around the target enemy, this bubble will pull in all nearby enemies as well as absorb all weapon's fire. A portion of absorbed projectile/hit-scan weaponry damage is added to the bubble as a scaling damage over time effect. It has a hold cast portion as well but it might as well not exist as it's effectively useless.
3.) Polarize: Support / defensive tool. -Subsumed for [Wisp]'s Breach surge.
Strips a flat amount of enemy shields and armour while dealing damage, or replenishes ally shields, to anyone caught in the growing bubble.
4.) Crush: Area crowd control.
While locked in place Mag suspends and deals damage to all enemies caught inside the radius. Replenishes shields to all allies in range for each enemy hit. Can grant over-shields.**
First of all, the build is self sustainable. No need to use energy pizzas or ANY energy generating mod/focus school.
You can use operator arcane Emergence Dissipate IF you want some emergency energy or a pizza but that should only be needed if something leeches your energy otherwise you have a lot of energy to spare since all the skills require 8-30 energy and you have a base pool of 265.
Do NOT take [Primed Flow]. The only change you can make is to swap [Stretch] for [Adaptation] if you want to take advantage of the huge overshields. You'll be basically immortal anyway if you spam vazarin + rolling guard + shieldgating anyway. In levels over 500+ the adaptation will make little to no difference but in anything near 150-200 level they will barely scratch your 1.6k+ overshields.
For Warframe arcanes we go for:
1) Molt Augmented to compensate for the low strength and achieve full armor strip on 4 as well as buff Breach Surge.
Note, although breach surge is very strong, it is not MANDATORY. You will still delete anything if they are armor stripped. I prefer it due to the insane bubble synergy + huge aoe CC that works on anything. AOE blind on a huge radius is an indirect buff to survivability. and comes in clutch when doing breach - pull - bubble- armor strip sequence.
2) Arcane Aegis which can be pretty useful although with perfect [Mag] usage it will not be needed. You can Swap that arcane to something of your choice if you want (NOT arcane energize please).
For Archon Crystals it is important that you use at least 2 for Casting Speed.
TIP: 1 Tauforged Blue crystal can give you enough shield that with Link shields on companion you will permanently have the +60% firerate from [Reinforced Bond].
If you do not have [Primed Sure Footed], the next best thing is [Handspring]. [Handspring] is 1000 times better than any other exilus mod when it comes to recovering from CC such as knockdowns, pulls etc.
Primary weapons of choice are [Cedo], [Arca Plasmor], [Nataruk], [Latron] Incarnon, [Strun] Incarnon or other projectile weapons. [Cedo] is nice for the alt fire in bubble.
Secondary : [Ocucor] is Sexy but i use [Grimoire] with Amalgam Diffusion and [Vome Invocation] [Khra Canticle] for Quality of life.
Melee : Pure preference, i prefer Quassus for the good bubble synergy and oneshot potential.
Companion : You can use ANYTHING but i prefer either Adarza/Smeeta with reinforced bond and Tenacious Bond or Diriga with Vigilante set on weap + viral/rad/electro and [Tenacious Bond] [Manifold Bond] and [Momentous Bond] along with [Primed Regen] [Guardian] [Odomedic] for shieldgate and heals if needed.
TIPS: I like keeping Pull and not using that for helminth since i rely greatly on Pull for grouping enemies and pulling them inside the bubbles.
For example i will press 1, use bubble on an enemy then proceed to either cast 4 or 3 and proceed to beam them with phantasma while then keep pressing 1 in order to pull new enemies inside the insta-kill bubble. TIP: If you are playing on a map with visual obstructions etc, always jump straight up and use pull as you're making a 360. The enemies will group on the air above you and fall inside the bubble.
We do that because pull works with line of sight. By jumping up you have a clear view and you can pull everything straight above you.
Replacing [Stretch] or Boreal for [Adaptation] is also very viable if you want an easier time clearing lower level content and don't rly like playing piano.
Think of bubbles as AoE Nukes. You place them in corridors and places where you expect a lot of enemies to spawn/walk through. In open spaces use 1 to pull some enemies on top of you, use bubble-breach then use 4 , BEAM them (they will insta die) and then start looking for more pulls because shortly after the bubble will go boom and everything near it will die.
