Coming from someone who considers himself picky about ear cups, the Kraken’s felt like pillowy clouds, and the hybrid fabric material helped reduce the heat buildup that commonly occurs with wireless headsets.

Playing Warzone with the Kraken V3 Pro puts you right in the middle of the action– the headset’s titanium-coated 50mm drivers create an ample soundstage for detecting directional audio. I liked the ergonomics of the flip-to-mute boom microphone on the Stinger 2. HyperX made the mic bendable in any direction, which makes it easy to find the perfect distance from your mouth. When not in use, the mic flips up out of sight, and there’s an audible click when the mic is raised into the mute position.

Voice clarity with the Cloud Stinger 2’s mic is satisfactory, but we did notice a good amount of background noise during our testing. This shouldn’t be a problem for everyday gaming applications.
