Top spotZoomieland in Downtown Fountain InnStarting June 23- July 2, we will be out of town and our son will be managing Zoomieland. However, he can only check the field once a day. Please don’t expect the field to be as tidy as usual. I ask that you bring additional poop bags and water if you have a scheduled time later in the day. Thanks for your understanding. (Our only other option was to close it down and we didn’t want to inconvenience our regulars.)Zoomieland offers more than an acre of flat, open, fenced-in doggie joy and is spacious enough to reach full-on sprint speeds to get those zoomies out.Located two blocks from the heart of downtown Fountain Inn and one mile off of 385, Zoomieland offers easy parking in the rear of the Younts Center, next to Excel Academy. Entrance is the small gate next to the parking lot.The field has some mature oak and pecan trees, providing shaded spots throughout the day and edible pecans in the fall. Feel free to move the chairs to where you and your pups will be happiest. If your dogs like to dig, please don't feel like you need to stop them. Let them dig up our property and not yours.Just some little warnings: There are some prickly-type plants in the vegetation - I recommend that people avoid those areas. And watch your step as the field has some uneven areas and some active ant mounds. After very heavy rain, for at least 24 hours, half the the field will be squishy, with standing water in one corner. The dogs don't mind but their humans may. Check with me and I can tell you about field conditions. In general, the field does not create muddy conditions but I provide different sizes of towels to help with any dirty paws. Also, I'm not a stickler for time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, then stay an extra 10 minutes. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late and would like to stay past the end of the reservation, check with me and I'll let you know if it's okay to stay any later.Please feel free to upload pictures of your pups on my Sniffspot listing! :)Zoomieland is home field of Deuce, Fountain Inn Police Department K-9 and Ember from the Fountain Inn Fire Department. Our barn overhang offers shade and protection from the elements for mom and dad. You can also access electricity in this area. We offer a dog kiddie pool for guests to use at their convenience. It is stored inside the barn so feel free to place it in the grassy areas and fill it with the hose. If we have advanced notice, we can fill it up for you. Great sniff spot! Lots of room, places for people to sit, and even some fun things like a basketball hoop. We had a great time! The next door neighbor does have a dog that came out during our visit but luckily our dog wasn’t tempted enough to jump the fence. It is a pretty short fence so keep that in mind if your dog is likely to jump 4 feet to get to another dog. A neighbor in the back does have some cute rabbits within view which our dog was interested in too. Keep that in mind :) Will be back!Alyssa W.

Only complaint is that there were neighbors dogs that came up unleashed out of nowhere along the fence line, not the hosts fault and fence was secure so didn’t end up being much of a problem. This was our first time using a Sniffspot and it was a nice, clean spot for my coonhound who loves roaming and sniffing. Tons of space, more than what it looks in the pictures and some mature trees for good shade. There were toys at the table and spread around, tunnels and obstacles for agility training. We saw a squirrel during our visit which was fun but no other dogs or people. Fencing was secure which was my priority for off leash sniffs. It was a quiet and peaceful visit, I plan to visit again when I’m nearby with my pup. I booked about 30 minutes before showing up and the host still had everything available we might need. The yard does need some clean up, but after I moved some branches to the side, it was better for running around. My dog took like 45 minutes to sniff EVERYTHING before she felt comfortable enough to run around full tilt 😹 The dogs nextdoor were visible in their fenced in run, and did bark a lot. This was difficult for my extreeeemely dog reactive girl, but they were far away enough (and her threshold is pretty far out there) that she could be distracted from them and resume sniffing and running around. It was actually pretty good practice of getting her used to other dogs and relaxing in their presence, even if she was a little tense most of the time. The agility gear is pretty shredded and worn out and there is some stuff in the yard like a fallen hammock, so I would watch out for that stuff and bring your own dog toys, but otherwise it was a nice huge yard with a very secure fence and my dog had a great time and was soooo tuckered out afterward. We will totally be back. So grateful to the host for letting us visit!Katherine K.
