We thank International Financial Services Centres Authority for the establishment of a framework facilitating 100% participation of non-resident Indians (NRIs), overseas citizens of India (OCI), and resident Indians (RIs) in FPIs operating from IFSCA, subject to certain conditions. This development marks a milestone in expanding the scope and inclusivity of IFSCA, opening up new avenues for international investment. This should encourage more funds to be incorporated in IFSCA.Additionally, the flexibility granted by SEBI to venture capital funds in handling unliquidated investments post-tenure expiration is a significant step towards creating a conducive investment environment.
