Our Stage 1 Performance Kit is very popular and includes a K&N style high flow air filter,aluminum air filter adapter, and an upgradeddrilled main jet for the carburetor. This kitis asimple but very effective upgrade over the stock air box. This kit needs to be paired with an aftermarket header for it to work properly. With the added air flow, the more rich main jet ismandatoryfor optimal engine performance. Filter inlet measures 2 7/16" ID and 2 7/8" OD. Includes choke hold bracket as well. Kits will ship with the air filter and air filter cover color we have in stock at the time.

3 390/420 predator stage 1 carburetor...

I ordered this kit for my 420 Predator Hemi, and the choke hold down did not work. the center hole that goes over the choke knob would not line up properly and held the adapter plate out away from the carburetor letting in more air than needed. I have since then ordered the stage 2 carburetor kit, hoping that one will work out better for my project. The other issue was, the air filter cover that comes with the kit did not fit easily over the filter. I had to stretch it out to the point I almost ripped it so it would go on. Maybe this kit wasn't made for the Hemi engines and if they are not, I wish that would be in the description for the part before ordering it.

Everything fit fine. I couldn’t use the provided jet as it made the engine run way too rich even when run without a muffler. Stock jet runs plenty rich. Fast shipping.
